A: Petition to amend the Town Charter to limit construction and expansion of vehicular traffic roads.

Common Questions about the petition.
Q: Will signing the petition automatically stop the road development?
A: No. It will simply put the issue on the ballot for the voters to vote on.

Q: What happens in the future when the population increases and new roads are absolutely necessary.
A: The issue can be placed on the ballet again and the voters will make the decision; not the politicians, developers, county or other municipalities.

Q: How many petitions do you need signed to put it on the ballot?
A: We need 10% of the voters to sign the petition. As of February 28, 2005 we have 5039 registered voters in the town. That would mean that we need 504 signed petitions to put it on the ballot. To date we have over four hundred.

B: Petition to the Members of the Southwest Ranches Florida Town Council to keep SW 199, 202 and 205 Avenues closed off to the thru traffic at the southern border between the Town of SW Ranches and the City of Pembroke Pines.
